First of all my biggest loser challenge is going well
Wed January 1st - 180.4 lb
Wed January 8th - 176.4 lbs
Wed January 15th - 178.0 lbs
Wed January 22nd - 174.4 lbs
Wed January 29th - 173.0 lbs
This equals 4.10% weight loss so far!! Woohoo!! I had a rough start because of my vacation but I'm more determined than ever! I doubt I'll win first place, a lot of other people are super ahead of me (9%) but that's okay. Just by losing weight I'm winning!! :) I'm excited to see how the next 7 weeks of the challenge go, but I'm also not stopping after that because I still have a long way to go!! My ultimate goal weight is 125-130 lbs. I know for some that seems small but I'm short! Super short, so it's actually still quite a "curvy" weight for my body, haha.
So the weekend went well. We had a low key date night Friday night because I still wasn't feeling great. We made salmon, sweet potatoes and some spinach. It was delicious!
We cleaned up and then we watched a scary movie and snuggled all through it! It was a little crammed, we don't usually snuggle during movies anymore because of Buster, I take one couch and he takes the other and Buster usually picks me..........but we really wanted to so all 3 of us crammed onto one couch, hahaha I was lying on my bf and buster on me, it was a pile up! It was nice to get close to him though.
Saturday I picked my daughter up from her father's then took her to her first 4H meeting. Since she's still young (11) she is doing something called exploring 4H where she gets to just touch on all the different projects and then next year she can pick which ones she liked the best. So Saturday was woodworking and they were making a gum ball machine.
It was really cool to see her get so involved in making it!

She had a 1.5 hour dance class right after the woodworking so I packed us both a healthy lunch (tuna fish sandwiches on whole wheat bread, with cucumbers on the side) so we weren't tempted to stop for fast food! Then we just had a quiet weekend the rest of the weekend, caught up with laundry, groceries, cleaning, etc.

Hard to believe how much he's grown up!!
He really didn't want me to go to work this week at all. I think he enjoyed when I was sick and snuggled him all day long. He keeps coming up to me and just resting his head on me, almost like he's asking me to just stay home with him. It's adorable and kinda sad, haha.
I have officially given up coffee!!! WHAT?!?!?! I know I know. I honestly don't think coffee is bad for you, but when I have coffee I want sugar and cream, I've learned to drink it without but I always want it. Then I find it makes me crave something sweet when I do drink it. So I've switched to green tea with honey and milk! It's doing the trick for me!! I've been having greek yogurt and blueberries for breakfast all week so far.
And made a big batch of pork chops/potatoes and edemamme for lunches (pork chops were on sale) for my lunches all week!
I haven't been running again yet, BUT I did go get new running shoes yesterday and it got me excited!! When I do get back into I desperately needed new shoes, mine were very worn out and that alone can cause running injuries!

I have an assessment on Monday to see when I can start running again!
In the meantime my friend gave me her T25 workouts and I want to start those on Monday! I know I should be able to find 25 minutes a day for those! I've heard good things about the workouts. I just know the only time of day I'd actually fit it in would be mornings, and it's so hard to get up early sometimes, but I'm going to really make an effort, I think it'll help me reach my goals that much more!!!
