Happy Tuesday peeps!
So on Sunday I meal prepped for my breakfast and lunches for the whole week! Prepping is one of my favourite things to do and this is my second week back at it woohoo! Check it out:
Breakfast (Which I have eaten every single AM since last Monday, this is big for me!)
-1 Slice of Squirrely Bread
- 1/4 Avocado
-5 egg whites
-1 egg yolk
Lunches = Mason Jar Salads! They keep for a full six days in the fridge. Mine consist of:
-1tbsp Sunflower Seeds
-1-3tbsp Hemp Hearts
-2tbsp feta cheese
Snack: not a big snacker this is new to me so a greek yogurt or a babybel cheese.
Dinners: Chase and I meal plan it out and prep as much as we can to make it quick!
I was unsure if I wanted to post anything about starting/doing Insanity..I was afraid I would fail but then I decided umm hello? this is the whole point of SP! support and being held accountable!
So day 1 is the fit test which I thought would be NO PROBLEM...ha ha ha.
IT WAS SO INCREDIBLY HARD!! The fit test is 25 mins and you record your results and retest every two weeks so you can see your improvements. Here is my day 1:
Switch Kicks - 25
Power Jacks - 28
Power Knees - 36
Power Jumps - 6 (yeppp)
Globe Jumps - 3 (i thought power jumps were hard!)
Suicide Jumps - 9 (jumps are clearly hard for me)
Push-ups - 15 (just regular pushups)
Low Plank Oblique - 20
I'm trying not to be dissapointed with day 1 but it was hard not to think how out of shape I have gotten and how IN SHAPE I was a short three years ago and get down on myself but I'm sure I will see results at the next fit test in 13 days so I'm keeping positive :)
