Yep, still logging and tracking. I think I'll even manage to get to my 180 fitness minutes this week. Yay me! I saw that they started a spring challenge in that team, but the requirement was 225 fitness minutes a week for 8 weeks so "not a beginner's challenge". Not one for us with physical limitations/disabilities either. So I'll be looking for some other challenge, or create my own, perhaps. I need that extra push in the right direction. Weight loss is happening, but VERY slowly.. I know, slow is better, but still. I still have that mean voice in my head that's telling me I'm failing because I'm not losing 1 kg per week.
I think a spring challenge (february-march) for me should be about these things..
1. Being nicer to myself
2. Work out at least 20 minutes a day
3. No added sugar
4. No bread
5. Lose at least 5 kg
Sounds reasonable, right? If anyone knows of a cool challenge that doesn't require me to be an athlete, please let me know!
Oh, and lookie what I made today:
Yes, homemade coconut oil deodorant! (I live on Pinterest, lol)
I must say it actually works! This is my 2nd batch and I am never ever going to use commercial deodorants again. Not unless I'm forced, haha. My recipe:
6 big tbsp coconut oil (room temperature)
7-8 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp baking soda
Mix and use! That's how easy it is. Usually there's a whole lot more baking soda in the recipe's flooding the internet right now but baking soda is NOT kind on the skin, so I'm not taking my chances. I'm sensitive. :P It works just as well with less.
