1/27/14 Had a Minor Accident

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

Well, I officially feel about an inch tall. And I really officially hate the ice. Was driving in to the parking lot to pick my husband up from work and there was someone in the drive getting ready to leave and was sitting in the middle of the drive. Well, I misjudged the room because of the snow and how dark it is and didn't realize it until it was too late. So, I tried to pull up onto the curb and round my way around the person, but the bloody tire slipped off the curb because of the ice and I bumped her. Thankfully nothing more than just scratches, but I sure as do feel like crap.

Driving in the snow/ice can be dangerous - glad it was nothing more serious than a few scratches. If you still feel bad get in a small workout; it can help relieve some of that stress you're feeling!

It happens!! I was backing up my hubby's pride and joy truck and ended up backing into our pine tree on top of our driveway. Scraped the whole back panel. Boy did I feel stupid but our youngest and I weren't hurt. That is all that mattered to us!! As the old saying goes - it happens!!! Take care,

So sorry. But it is difficult at times to judge these things when there is snow. I hope you feel better tomorrow. Remember it was very minor and only scratches on the vehicle.

    Glad it was just scratches.

An accident can really shake you up. I'm sorry it happened.

I am not a fan of the ice either.

That is why they are called "accidents." These things happen. As long as everyone is OK, let it go and move on!

Sorry that happened. It is such pain to deal with! But don't beat yourself up. Accidents happen. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

Welcome to the club. I've done silly things like this many times. Sunday, when trying to pull into my parking lot, I slid on snow and hit the curb. I broke the tire stem and my tire proceeded to lose air. I was at the tire store for two hours yesterday waiting to get it fixed.
