The first day of the Big Plan.

The twins started Grade 2 today.....
my wee boy said he had butterflies in his tummy, I told him so did I.
They grow up too fast!
Even though I miss the days they were wobbly on their feet when they just started walking.
This age is awesome! The things they come up with crack me up. The conversations we have are totally entertaining at times, especially my wee boy, goodness me, he is truly a "Mini Me"

Today is the day I have been looking out for, the new year has begun, and the kids are back at school. Even though I am looking for a job, I want to make sure I get some awesome walks in and get back to a good fitness level.

Spark is such a positive piece of my life! The people you meet here, the motivation we find. The 'togetherness' of a group of people that all looking and trying to achieve the same thing.
fitness, health, and getting back to where we realize, it is a good thing to put yourself first, and to love yourself, no matter how we look or what we do.

If there is anything I have learned it is that if we feel good about ourselves, not only are we much better company to be around, and much better support for other around us, we actually enjoy Life a lot better when we love who we are and what we look like..

This is it folks... no matter how much we compare ourselves with others... this is the body we have been given, and this is the body we need to respect.

So lets start respecting it, feed ourselves with good nutritious food, and get some movement in our days.

The word 'exercise' scares a lot of people off, and seeing people being hammered on the beach or in the parks by personal trainers sometimes has the opposite effect, instead of motivational it might be completely off putting.

So lets not call it exercise.

Going for a walk in nature, where ever that may be, can really energize your mind, your body and your soul.

A lot of people might think that big walks are not enough to lose weight... or working in the garden for a few hours is not considered exercise.
But it surely is! And in my mind, its a lot more fun than Burpees... ;-)

Tomorrow I'm off for a walk that is the start of my distance goals.....

I love setting goals and working my way up to them. When I get there, we'll see where the journey is taking me next.
