Day 28

Monday, January 27, 2014

It took a while to get to my exercise today. I had a busy day for a day off. It started with a cold drive to Omaha for the orthodontist for two kids. The same two kids were also sick, so I kept them home from school and decided to make doctor's appointments for both. One has a sinus infection and chest congestion, my other has his reactive airway acting up again.

I spent most of my day off preparing enough stew and roast to cover my work week. Yes, I filled the turkey roaster to the brim! I have to say, it was my best Irish stew ever! I also tried a new bread recipe, beer bread. I made it in muffin pans for individual servings. It seemed to turn out well. I'm glad. I now can use up all the beer my husband bought. We hardly ever drink beer, and never have company. I have no idea why he bought a 24 pack.

After 7pm I finally got to my Zumba game. Sean started out with me and got me going good. He developed an ache, so Bridget took over. It was a lot of fun doing the game with both of them.

I, too, spent some time at the doctor. With me it was Sarah and it was the Chiropractor (after time at the Urgent care on Saturday evening). It's great that the kids want to "exercise" with you - ha, ha. Playing is fun, right?

Great job keeping to your 10-min spark streak! Have a great week, Chris.
