I have been doing the same workout for a while and its getting boring
For me when I get bored , I ended up slowing down and then avoid it all together .

This year I promised my self to stay excited and keep going even when I feel like giving up because I want this year to be different . After all if you cant keep a promise to your self who can you keep a promise too.

So i decided to put my workout on edit mode emoticon

I walked to the park by my house which is about a mile roundtrip and that took about 30 mins , it was a bit rainy and dark in the morning .
After I came back I did a biggest loser dvd which totals to 30 mins BUT i broke that up 3 sessions .
And between that I did elliptical and kettle bell exercises .

My own mini version of cross fit lol . I wasnt bored and the work out got done .
What ever works , do it . I had fun .

Another thing this year was that I cut out my gym membership and I am slowly buying things for a homegym. Though I live up the road from a 24 hours fitness here in mililani , its always crowded and my work schedule is odd hours considering i work mostly nights.

Some other changes I have been making are taking home lunch , lately its been sandwiches . Usually I just make a plain turkey or cheese but I have been adding some lettuce and tomatoes and mustard with pickles.. random stuff.

Reason being , i was going to subway more than a few times a week and it does add up being about $7 a sandwich and i figured I might as well buy everything and take the extra time and pack my own . Save a bit and I feel awesome looking at the sandwich i build lame i know but oh well emoticon leaning to love to cook and yes i consider making a sandwich cooking lol

along with that i'll have chips that i am trying to finish . I finally admitted to my self that chips is a trigger food for me and I just want to avoid them . it does not matter what type of chip it is i always tend to over it soo i am just going to avoid it all together for now .
I plan on replacing them with fruit and cut up veggies.

I finally watched the movie Safe Haven and a goal this year was to read 12 books and I am currently reading the book for this movie . I personally thing that book is better .

Anyways back to work I go .

    Good for you that you are identifying trigger foods and giving them up!

That takes a lot of focus. But once you are "free" of them, it is amazingly easy.
Sounds like you had a great work-out, too.
And making your own sandwiches is so smart!! Because a sandwich made yourself is often better.

    i struggle when i but myself on a stricter workout challenge. i lke to vary my routine and play with intensity and workout types. I found some free online videos so there is almost something new to try.
