so kitty is moved in and starting to adjust. she spends a lot of time in her crate but she'll get there.

and in meantime wants to play right when i go to bed and then wakes me up with her toy mouse at 6am.... there's too much activity and strange noises during the day so she hides in her crate in the under stairs cupboard.

haven't gotten a lot of exercise in lately. though have been moving boxes and things. we had a work party friday night just with my department. indulged in fatty food and a few cocktails but didn't drink anymore alcohol at the dance club afterwards (unlike all my coworkers). and danced for a solid two hours so probably balanced myself out. didn't sleep well after though no hangover since i had had plenty of water.

am hoping to get back into a proper routine soon. still have things strewn between two homes though. am being quite diligent about packing a lunch, which means less expense and less junk food. so hoping that becomes a habit soon. have altogether been spending too much on lunches the past few months and extravagent unnecessary foods that go to waste (and/or waist).

anyway, have a facetime date with my mum tonight and feeling more positive in general at the moment, which is fantastic.

and my other dresser is finished so i can properly tidy up now.

Moving house should be listed as a fitness routine! There is nothing easy about it, and you sweat like a pig....

Glad your kitty is at least feeling safe enough to come out at night. Hope you both adjust soon.

Have a great week!
