The struggle with insomnia is still on. It's not going to win.
The sleep Doctor that I was seeing is no longer accepting my insurance, plus he agreed with me (shock),
he thought my sleep problem is hormonal. My problems started when I was going through menopause.
The Endo agreed that I might need some progesterone. I don't want to see another Doctor. And I don't want another prescription. So, to the internet I went.
I have insomnia, high blood pressure, menopause, and hypothyroidism. Some of my side effects are brain fog, ringing of ears, heart palpitations, no energy. All of those are regulated by our hormones. One of the missing hormones is progesterone. This can be taken in cream form, rubbing it on my body twice a day. Only need 1/4-1/2 teaspoon.
So, started using the cream Saturday night, today is day two. No difference, and I am not expecting to notice anything until I've been on it for at least 3 weeks.
