This past week I had children's doctor appointments, a girl scout troop meeting, a party we hosted and a second party elsewhere. Complicated by snow and really frigid temperatures. During the week I managed to still have healthy snacks available and plan dinner so the diet situation wasn't so bad but the exercise was almost non-existent. With temperatures in the single digits I'm not getting out to the gym, face it I'm not even shifting the cat so I can get out of my warm bed. The weekend is where it really goes south. I'm running around to get prepared for the party (yay steps) but I don't eat when I'm prepping food and cleaning. So I pretty much don't eat all day, then eat party food and stay up late because I'm too full to sleep. Clearly I need a plan B and C when I'm throwing a party so I don't screw up my weekend.
