Persistence Persevered today

Sunday, January 26, 2014

When I came out of church today, it was nice and I said there's what Buddy and I are going to do, we're going to the dam to walk. At my house, it was nice, but at the dam, there was a quick blizzard and so much wind.... Luckily I had on a hoodie and a windproof jacked and a hat and scarf. I had in my mind to do the 5k again. It took a lot of persistence. After 2 laps, we sat in car so Buddy could warm his toes, and then we did the other 2 laps to make the 5k.... it was so windy, it took my breath away and almost blew me down. Buddy ain't no wuss, so when I tried to carry him to warm up his toes, he just jumped back down.

Finished the book I started yesterday. Finished off the soup I made yesterday, and the beef kidney I friend up last nite. Buddy loved it too. Even shopped a little...

Good day, too bad I ate that Aero Mint Chocolate bar...
