After our morning snowstorm I was desperate to get out of the house. DH promised to go with me to look at TV's at Best Buy to replace the tiny little one I watch while walking in the basement. But first he had to go out and dig some parsnips for dinner. That took over an hour but fresh dug anything smells so good. I love the smell of fresh earth. Our farm field in the spring is like ambrosia to me. Then he made breakfast for DD since it is Sunday and that is his thing. I had to wash dishes afterward, because, well that is my thing (keeping the kitchen tidy). He had to plow out the driveway and after that, well it is 2PM but we finally got out.
We looked at a lot of TV's. I wanted something I could actually see if I am standing behind the couch (I do jumping jacks and toe touches there). The tiny TV is hard to see from that distance because it is so small. So we wandered and settled on a 46 inch model. 46 inches! From 15 inches to 46 inches. It is HUGE but wonderful to be able to see it from anywhere. I could probably still see it if I was standing outside! DH has already claimed it for the Super Bowl next weekend since it is larger than the one we have in our livingroom. I feel special that I got the new one. And today's movie was "Leap Year" with Amy Adams. Technically I haven't finished it yet. About halfway thru (only 9,000 steps so far) because it took longer to set up than I anticipated and dinner was cooking. More about the movie tomorrow.
