Fat Loser Day 20 - Perceptions and Plateaus

Sunday, January 26, 2014

Ah the dreaded plateau. You are putting in all this effort and no results or at least not the results you desire. Other stuff may be going on, but all that is focused on the the lack of movement on the scale.
Frustrating yes. Steve said that frustration and old habitual thinking is a serious threat to my success. "Stay tough and compliant you will get through,"
Visual the end game, if you throw in the towel you will not get to the end.
So Hang Tough!

I really liked this perception about plateaus. If we think of them as bodies "catching up" and consolidating weight loss . . . it helps a lot (reframing!! not defeat!!)

I understand plateau frustration all too well. Meanwhile, we are keeping our bodies healthy.

Yeap Steve is right! I get frustrated too. It is a threat to our goal. We have to keep going. Even if it feel like we are dragging along sometimes. emoticon
