Personal Trainer Day One - Wii Fit U

Sunday, January 26, 2014

I got the Wii Fit U game last week and today was the first time I tried out the Personal Trainer section. I must say that I really love this feature as you can choose how long you want to work out for, Activity Level, and what kind of exercises you want to do. Today I chose 30 minutes, Random, at Standard level and this is what it came up with for me.

10 min Free Run
Lunges - 10
Plank - 30 sec
Ski Slalom - Advanced
Cobra
Salsa - Beginner (first time playing this one)
Jacknife - 10
Bridge
Side Lunges - 10
Warrior
Jacknife - 10
Lunges - 10

I love how this game will include the Advanced version of these games as with the Wii Fit Plus, the Routines would only include the Beginner version.

After I was done working out I went in and looked at the options of the personal trainer that you can choose from.

Time - from 5 to 60 minutes.
Activity Level - Light, Standard, Intense
Training Style - Yoga, Dance, Strength Training, Aerobics, Balance, Relax, Vigorous, Yoga/Strength Training, Will Balance only

Great job to you!! I love all the events that the new WiiFitU has to offer. The climbing is fun and the dancing too. I am sad though that they took out the skateboarding and the penguin slide events and the parade. It has plenty of snow events to celebrate the winter Olympics also... sweet! Keep up the great efforts.

We had bought a new tv and my Wii wasn't compatible with the new tv, so my husband said I could get a new Wii U. I wasn't sure if I wanted to or not, as my Wii could just move downstairs with the old tv. Once I got it up and working, I'm so glad that I got the new game system. There are so many new options and games on the new one. And it's a bonus, that you can still play the Wii Fit U even when someone is watching the tv, as you use the Game Pad controller. You can still play your old games on the new system too; you have to put it in Wii mode to get the games working. I recommend the new system.

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure if I'm going to invest in the Wii U system. Why did you get the new system? Change of pace?
