Yay me! My weight loss is funny in that I may do everything right and lose only tenths of a pound each week for several weeks then suddenly have a huge weight loss even though I didn't change my routine one iota. I guess God knew I needed a mental boost today and gave me a great surprise with 2.4 pounds gone from the scale. Woo hoo!
I'm feeling so thankful today compared to last week's post. My daughter's intake appointment for the hair-pulling issue went well and the counselor seemed to think we'd not be seeing her long. I don't know why she feels that, but I hope she's right! We'll go forever if that's what it takes to clear up her anxiety, but it's nice to hear the professional say that.
I found the money to get our dog to the vet and he told us it's congestive heart failure. He assured us that, as scary as that sounds, it can be controlled with a cheap diuretic. He said she also hadn't come down with any complications, thank goodness. I was worried she had pneumonia or the like, but nope. She's good. At 16 years old, I realize she's not got a lot of time left, but we're trying to make those years good.
A couple of more problems arose with finding out my college son needs a laptop and our digital keyboard/piano going out. God provided both of those without us having to spend a penny! Thank you, Lord!
And you want to know one of the things that's the most awesome? I DID NOT eat my way through ANY of my problems! Weight Watchers keeps me happy! :)
Have a great week, y'all!
