So last week we had school for a half day on Tuesday and that was it. It was a professional day so there were no kids:) That afternoon we got 4 inches of snow and frigid temps. We didn't go the rest of the week.
Wednesday I was snowed in and slept almost all day:)
Thursday I did not make it to the gym. Too many appointments and I really did not feel like getting out at 5 with all the snow.
Got back there Friday for some running, spinning and SWEAT.
Saturday I hit a nice little patch of ice on my way to the Y for spin. No spin for me, at least not on the bike.
That leads me to today...sprints on the treadmill! It was a fun one!
I walked .25 ran .75 for 2 miles and then walked 30 seconds, sprinted 1 minute. Toast by the end, and I feel like I am getting back to a normal routine yet again. Three rest days is way too many. Hopefully I will be able to get to the gym each day this week. It's not supposed to be any warmer, and we are supposed to get rain tomorrow and then have a high of 19....so we shall see what happens:)
I loved having this week off. I got so much stuff done! It was also nice being snowed in because then I don't feel guilty about not going out:)
So this week:
Sunday: sprints and abs
Monday: spin ( I found a fun little routine) and lifting
Tuesday: SWEAT and spin and my bootcamp
Wednesday: spin SWEAT and my bootcamp
Thursday: spin SWEAT
Friday: run SWEAT abs
248.45 miles for the year!
One day I will be able to see the road again that is outside my house. Until then it's pretty much like Ice Road Truckers around here:)
