Day 25- Smaller Amounts less Often
When I first read this my first thoughts were oh no not another set up for cravings gone wild. But after re-reading it and discussing it with a friend I realized that I may give in often to urges because I feel deprived and have feelings there is little hope to ever eat the foods that I like. I really see how food has controlled me for the last 25 years of my life and I am really sick and tired of that. My favorite food is peanut butter crackers dipped in chocolate, pizza, and banana nut bread. I may be able to avoid less satisfying foods like French fries and sugary cereals if once a month I would allow myself one of the top three. I put on my calendar that I will bake and eat a slice of banana nut bread with chocolate chips on Feb.7. My husband likes it as well and I will give the remainder to friends. I thought about freezing the rest but it is too easy for me to warm it up in the microwave. For right now I would rather not have any more around to tempt me.
