Doing my best-thanks kitties and doggie

Saturday, January 25, 2014

I had office surgery for an ingrown toenail (ick). The MD made like a little moat on each side, and burned the excess nail with acetic acid. I thought it would hurt to use the foot, but I have had no pain at all! I still have to soak and bandage it though.
Meanwhile, I wanted to keep the action to a minimum, so I played FETCH with the youngest kitty, and also my little doggie.
I use stretchy ponytail rings, and make them fly for my kitty. Jaime flies across the room to make running and leaping catches. Problem is, he only brings his toy back to me when he wants to, and otherwise I FETCH.
My doggie has a small, and a large stuffed bone. Most of the time he drops the bone at my feet, otherwise I FETCH the bone myself!
They keep me pretty active, and I gain steps on my FITBIT.
The problem is, I don't know who does the most fetching. I think I may be the winner! emoticon Kathy R

My teenage daughter has a black cat who LOVES to play fetch with ponytail holders! He manages to open all the drawers in the house until he finds one and tosses it onto the floor. Then when we are sitting on the couch, he will come up and drop it on our laps until we throw it for him to fetch. I never knew cats did that! I just replaced my dishwasher and refrigerator, and it was so funny because when the old ones were pulled out, there were about 50 ponytail holders underneath them!

    Good wishes for your recovery.
LOL on the cats and dogs. We had one that I would throw the ball and he would look at me. Same with the "girls" yesterday

Hope your healing goes by fast. Have fun exercising with the kitten and your puppy. Have you tried getting a laser light? We go one for our kitten he loves it. Walmart has them. emoticon emoticon emoticon

We had a cat that played fetch on the steps to the basement for 45 min. to an hour at a time. Then she would lay at the bottom of the steps and pant. Best cat! Sorry about your toe! ouch!
