A few weeks into my comeback tour and I have of had a hard week. Lesson 1: Failure to plan means setup to fail.
One of the things that has worked well for me is to plan my meals. That went out the window when my 28 year old daughter moved back in for a few weeks. She brings my granddog bulldog, Cortez and her boyfriend whom I like but it is extra chaos. She has happily wanted to cook for us and in that, I am not in control which leads to extra calories. Plus, she got my baking gene so cookies have snuck back in via my offspring.
So, OK I didn't have a stellar week but I did do things that counter balanced it like eating a good breakfast.
So this week...PLAN! no WINGING it! And when life throws curves, make the best of it. Eat less of things that are not smart, drink the water, walk when I can.
