Pictures from Sweet Girl's Tea Party and her cake

Saturday, January 25, 2014

Well, I kind of can't believe it but we are through the first of our double birthday party fest extravaganza weekend! This morning was a RUN FOR IT! We did it though and the children's really seemed to have fun. I think they felt very fancy having a real tea party …finger sandwiches and all.

The menu:
Finger sandwiches:
Cucumber and Cream Cheese
Chicken Salad
Turkey on small biscuits
Vegetable roll ups
Deviled Egg

Vegetable Tray with dill dip
Fruit Salad

Petit fours:
Blueberry Short Cake
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Orange Panna Cotta served in Tiny Tea Cups
Napoleons
Mini Chocolate Cup Cakes

Birthday Cake - vanilla with strawberry filling and a marzipan tea set on top.
Vanilla Ice Cream
Also each child got to take a piece of the marzipan tea set from the top of the cake

The tea was strawberry mango herbal tea.

We had gotten the tea cups, saucers and plates at the Salvation Army and for the party favors we filled the cups with candy and packed up each child a tea cup, saucer, plate and their name tags.

Here are some pictures:

Sorry if I put any double pictures in…my computer is being obnoxious right now and I am too tired to figure understand why.

OK…Now…On to my next task…Trying to figure out how to make a castle fit for a knight and a dragon…out of cake!

They look absolutely adorable! I'm sure the young princesses enjoyed themselves! Quite clever to do the tea cups as party favors. They kids will remember this party for some time.

Gorgeous! Have you thought of opening your own business? Maybe online at first to hold down overhead?

Quin and Liam are lucky to have such a loving, talented mom.
