Reached my first weight-loss goal!

I got on the scale this morning and not only did I reach my weight-loss goal for January, I was UNDER my goal! My goal was to lose 5 pounds this month, and as of today, I've lost 6. I have only exercised one time, but I've been really paying a lot more attention to what I eat and drink. I'm trying to just drink water or almond milk, I'm watching my portions, and I'm also limiting how many starchy/sugary things I eat. I've also not had any alcoholic drinks for a few days. I love my wine. I know I can still enjoy it -- just not as often. I'd rather lose weight than have a couple glasses of wine every day.

I'm so excited! I really did it! My other goal for January is to clean and organize my Laundry/Pantry Room. I haven't done that yet...but I will probably start on that this weekend.

    That's great!! I'm starting out similar to you. I am watching calories and drinking lots of water. I haven't been very motivated to exercise much. Hopefully we can both get that incorporated into our journey. Good luck to you and keep up the good work!
