Just when you thought it was almost safe enough to go outside, another blizzard starts!! I awoke an hour ago, looked out the window--nothing but bunnies cavorting on the crunchy snow.
Five minutes ago I looked out again, in the dark, to see nothing.. but white everywhere!

I have three errands to run today, including banking. I sure hope the plows are out to clear the already high drifts, plus the new snow cover. I was wrong when I said the temps were such and such yesterday. It was four degrees before wind chill factor,, that is usually ten-fifteen degrees lower, depending on how high the wind is blowing..
We dare not drop anything on the ground: it will blow away before we can even bend over to pick it up!

I even remarked to DD last night about the program: "Below Zero", the people live up around the Arctic Circle. A woman named Sue Aikens lives alone by choice in a huge Quonset hut twelve miles from the Circle. As we fought the gale force winds yesterday, I could not even keep my hat and hood on my head, it reminded me of her.

I also just realized that when those railroad guys cut all of those huge trees down, they also took out about ten squirrel nests. I think there is some double-bunking going on right now in those trees left.

banking matters are important. Too bad that it can't be done online or over the phone. Some just can't though.

We're being told to stay off the roads with high winds and 2-4" of snow do today and another 2-4" do tomorrow again with the winds.
