I have spent the entire day from 8am to 4pm in doctor's offices. I am exhausted. The last appointment got me yet another shot in my back, but it still seems to be doing nothing. He prescribed me another anti-inflammatory instead of increasing my pain meds. Well guess what? Angela has be operating under severe pain and that's when "AngeLaw" comes into effect. Meaning that I am going to do it my way and you had better move! LOL So I will chill out tonight, take some extra meds and stay in bed until at least noon tomorrow.
Anyway, I went to 2 pre-op meetings this morning. One for the endometrial ablation I am going to have on Feb 5, and my left ankle replacement on January 31. I figured that since I was gonna be down with the foot, I may as well get something else out of the way as well. So I am tag-teaming surgeries. The bad news is that I cannot use the exercise bike at all after surgery, no setting my foot on the floor - nothing. Bummer! And I could be in a walking boot for up to 6 weeks. Another Bummer because we are getting close to swimming time for me.
Then I did an echocardiogram for my cardiologist. That was pretty quick. I also made it in to get my blood work done for pre-op. I had t get the order this morning because they forgot to give it to me on the 17th. They went all "cardiac event" on me and forgot the simple stuff.
I got hit on by an Irish guy in the waiting room at my doc's office. He was cocky and had man-boobs... not my type at all. But he was bald and I do like a skinned head sometimes. Anyway, I am going to lay down, do what the doctor ordered and medicate and relax and chug water.
I have 2 appointments Monday that are at 8:30 and 2pm, so I will have to find something to do for HOURS! I'm not so impressed by that, but the next day is my birthday so medical visits.
Oh! I got my 1099 from Social Security today. These assholes didn't hold back any federal taxes as I requested, so now I owe taxes on $79k!! They were supposed to tax my back pay and my current income so I wouldn't have to do this. I am PISSED. Tomorrow I will dig out the paperwork where I set up my direct deposit and where I made that election and I will go to the SSA office and shove it in their face. I cannot believe that I am gonna have to pay in taxes. But I am letting it go tonight. I can't take thinking about it now, but please feel free to share my outrage.
