So I spent most of the day yesterday working on my plan for the next 7 and a half months. It's a big plan. I will be training for the biggest longest race to date. I will be doing a Half Iron Man!
In the middle of August.
I'm excited and scared at the same time. I know I can do it, I will have to train for it but I know I can. I have done all of the parts and peaces of it in the past. Just not all at the same time. I also what much skinnier than too.
With implementing this plan I should be able to loose the weight by the time the race happens. It's enough time to get me down to 150 before the big race day.
The plan is to loose about 2 lbs a week. That should get me to 'race weight' (not my ultimate goal weight) a month before the race.
So far this week I'm off to a great start. Right now we are watching what we eat (for real again) and have drastically cut back on the liquid calories. I know it's mostly water weight right now but it's coming of rather quickly. Which is very encouraging and motivating. It's the first time in months that the scale has moved the right way for more than one day.
I weigh in daily, but only track weekly. I'm not sure what my 'tracking date' will be yet. I started this on a Tuesday I think.. I'm use to Monday weigh in so we shall see.
This next week is all about starting the routine I've put in place. The first full week of February I will start the full on training.
Last night was run night, and I did make it out with my group. I was very firm on what I was going to do and not do with them. There was three that ran at my pace. I pushed them they pushed me. Oh and the WIND! We have a major wind storm out here. 30 mph sustained with gust any where from 50-100mph. There is no rain or moisture. It is cold though 41 the wind chill put it at 30 degree. But a 3 mile run we got in!
