emoticon for checking this blog out. I believe that you will be pleased to have done so.

I was a U.S.A.F. dependant for the first twenty-two years of my life, so the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds will always hold a special place in my thoughts; however, this video of the Blue Angles is spectacular! I just had to share it with y'all. Please enjoy!

God bless your day with skies as clear & beautiful as those in this video!

Did you know that the pilot on the right of the formation is always a Marine?

Fasten your seatbelt in anticipation of a sensational ride!

I love the Blue Angels! I've seen them twice & was at the Italian air show in Ramstein Germany in '88. That was horrifying and something I'll never forget.

My Dad (AIRFORCEBOB) flew with the Thunderbirds for (I think) 2 years. I will always be Amazed at the Skill and Precision that they and the Blue Angel Pilots show with Every Show. I cannot even imagine the HOURS of Practice and Dedication they gave to that Program!!

Amazing Thanks for sharing the vidio. Have seen the show of one of the U.S. teams and have seen theem fly over our home a few times as we live near both the internation airport of the twin cities and a service base too. We also saw the presidental plane fly over landing and take off both--fasinating.

emoticon video. I like to say I was born into the Navy - Dad didn't retire until after I was married. My DH did a stint in the Army and he and I worked many years as civilians in DoD - so our military services hold a very special place in my heart.

I loved watching the video, and have watched Top Gun a few times just for the planes. LOL Thanks again for this blog.

I'm a fan of the Blue Angels from the 60s They used to practice for the week over our house. One year we took our kids to their air show and it was so noisy I couldn't hear for an hour afterward. But it was so fun. emoticon

I went to a show where the blue angels did. I don't remember anything, but do remember that I was amazed. I have watched many of the old news reals, or movies where they had people standing on planes. I do like old war movies, just because of the planes too. I even like channel 56 version of how planes came iinto existence. over thank giving talked about Turkeys, and that there was a farm where they raised them near a naval base. And the thought was that turkeys could have heart attacks from emotions, cause a whole harvest or more was whipped out. But What I think these dummies forgot was that these birds who are fatten so much that can't fly, pressure of the air hitting their bodies, and blowing up their hearing channels, and causing there hearts to burst! Not hey I'm scared are there aliens invading? Oh, me as a turkey am so scared, I would rather die. Just another person who can't relate. Great blog. My niece is marrying a pilot for Federal Express. he flies back and forth to Paris France from the States, here in Michigan. eva emoticon emoticon

    Excellent vid!
Thank you for your family's service.
I love the Angels!!! I have a special place in my heart for them because our daughter is a Marine. Didn't know the tidbit about the right-winger! That's cool.
I have seen the T-birds too and they're pretty awesome too!!!
But, just to be clear, the Angels are flying again. They did not "cease" to fly. They only stopped flying during the sequestration. In fact, they are flying again and we've already got reservations to see them, in MN, in August. And a really good friend of mine is planning on attending their home show to congratulate her son on his final year with the Blue Angels as a chief.

They are amazing to watch; however, during their shows, their sonic booms shake my house and scare my cats for hours.
