The Nose Knows

Wednesday, January 22, 2014

After yesterday's snow and the drop in temperature at below freezing,
I knew to expect some minor issues .....and , as luck would have it....
the owner of the vacant condo below me arranged to have the floors done and something in the bathroom fixed. The chemical smell is overwhelming.
I just can't win.
{...open windows...raise thermostat...good thing my heat is included...}
But on the other hand...it totally kills my appetite.
So I guess there is an upside to things if you look hard enough.

The back is still getting there. Things don't heal as fast as they used to.

Have a good rest of week. ciao

  Hi Sheryl.........
Leave it to you to find the good in a situation. I do agree re: chemical smells...........it does make me lose my appetite and also triggers an instant migraine.
Take care of yourself.

    That cold weather is hard. I hope those chemical smells go away soon. I am sorry about your back and hope it is healing. It does take longer as we age.

Hang in there. We are almost to the end of February.

    :( Things will get better! Only about 6 more weeks of this crazy weather and then back to spring time. (here in MI we usually have snow well into April, but the frigid temps back off)

    Smell works both ways. I can walk right by food if I can't smell it, but give me an whiff... emoticon emoticon

    I hate the smell of things like new carpet. It makes my nose burn and my eyes water. I hope it's not as cold there as it is here.
