Hi – it’s been a while. It’s funny, I mentally write blogs all the time, but rarely seem to get them down on spark any more.
I got a Ninja for Christmas.
I like it thus far, but honestly haven’t used it much or to its full potential. BUT I just started reading the newsletter. I don’t normally read these types of emails – I just considered them to be sales flyers to get me to buy something else. This one is surprisingly.
Included is a calendar for January, and something you can do each day to improve your health and well-being. (I’ll be printing out and added to my binder *stay tuned for a blog about my binder*) Also included is 12 Ways to a new you, one focus for each month. January is Take Inventory – “Write down 5 strengths and weaknesses. Enhance your strengths and work on your weaknesses in the month of January”. Sounds like a good idea to me.
Water Consumption – drink more unflavored water
Overall Diet – increase vegetables
Competitiveness – really, enhance this?
Compassion – volunteer
Drive – Keep up with binder items
(it’s harder than it looks to list 5)
Sticking to a fitness plan – started T25 (thanks friend) now continue
Loving myself – selfies – post in blog & on fb. I’m not to “I’m great” yet, working on “I’m not so bad”
Pushing myself (I just go through the motions sometimes) – work on timed mile and weight lifting goals
Scheduling/Planning – meal planning would be a huge improvement.
Portion sizes – measure more
