Woo Hoo to Tuesday and second day no junk food! Woo Hoo!

Breakfast:

Celery Sticks - Ate while I made my cereal :-)
Cream of Wheat (naked, no milk added) with a tsp. of sugar
1/2 orange

Lunch:
Vegetarian Split Pea Soup
Green Salad with light buttermilk ranch
1/2 can of tuna mixed with 1 tsp mayo on Two Wasa Crackers

Dinner:
Elk Steak with Light Mushroom gravy
1/2 Yam
Steamed Veggies - Carrots, Brussel Sprouts and Peppers
One Glass Merlot

Snack :
Bran flakes with milk
One piece of Toast

Total Calories 1385

Need to change up calorie count for Wednesday. I was within 10 calories on Mon & Tuesday. I heard Dr. OZ teach that to maximize weight loss when counting calories, you should zig zag the calorie count to trick the body away from homeostasis. I feel it does work, so, for Wednesday, I will shoot for between 1450 and 1550. Then on Thursday and Friday I plan on doing, 1300 and 1200. One day at a time

Walk around town - took the high road - so incline a Go Go!

Ab strength training

    I noticed I keep getting really close to my chosen allowance, which is set 200 calories lower than my SP high allowance. I need to do the zig-zag thing too. Thanks for the reminder!

    HI Janey,, for awhile back a bit, we had "LIVE MIND" which SPARK members paid to belong to (I almost became a leader there, but than backed down, cos I never really feel good enough to stick to having to be on,, and it was LIVE at certain hrs,, and they wanted to pay me 15 an hr !!! WOOHOOO !! They folded when another company took over the site,, GRRRRR For by now I MIGhT of taken on that role !) and on that site,, we were taught for an hr per session,, n' you could attend as MANY as you wanted,,, I HAD A BALL Attending 3 a week,,, I had my FAVORite Leaders,,, and we ALL had a BALL !!! LOL DID WE eVAH !! it was in chat formation. I WISH they'd bring something like this BACK !! I'd JUMP NOW at being a leader ! how about you? they gave you the material,, you just had to MAKE SURAH the topic stayed ON those topics,, and you got DONE in time.

One of them was,,,, what ur talking about,,, varying ur cals,,,, from low to high,, 4 days low and 3 days high. It is proven to work,,,,,, some times I watch Dr Oz, but he keeps changing around what is believable one day, to a few weeks later,, "more accurate info" and I get FRUStRTED with THAT !!! OH YEAH !! So when I have him on,,,,,cos I DO like his illustrations of how the body works,,,,, I sit here and make FUN of him. LOL I SOOO BAD !!!

    Interesting idea about varying calories. Am going to try it. Your menu looks good - elk steak is not something you see every day. Where did you get it? emoticon on 2 days sans junk food. emoticon
