Setting the home environment

The DP wants to lose a few pounds too. Excellent! Maybe this means he won't need peanut butter and crackers, chocolate bars, and the other stuff he buys & I eat.
But the best news is, he just ordered an exercise bike for the house. Have I mentioned how much I dislike the cold weather? I have not been outside to exercise since the clocks changed. Our old (like, 1970s old) exercise bike started making a horrible grinding noise and we could not fix it, so he gave it to the scrap-metal guy last fall, so unless I went into the yoga room (which I never did) I was not getting my morning exercise.
Somehow, I have persuaded myself that this will be different.
Scale continues to provide astonishment. Down another 2 pounds today. I must have stood off-balance or something, because that's physically impossible…unless I took my first weigh-in on a water retention day or something? I don't know, but I loved the number today.

Good on number. My DH said he needed to make changes and we would do spark solution. So, what does he do? Yesterday stuck in the house, he made sugar cookies!

Congrats on the weight loss! It's so much easier to remain consistent if you have alternative exercise means at home. I have several pieces of equipment and even though there's a foot of snow out, I got my cardio in yesterday on my bike. Enjoy your bike!
