Cleaning & organizing! Non.Fricken.Stop!

That's what I've been doing for 4 days, and it's still so out of order it's embarrassing! I invited a guy friend over tomorrow evening, so hopefully that puts a push to my motivation to get it done! I wasted 4 days....FOUR DAYS doing nothing but re-wrapping yarn so it doesn't tangle so easily! Argh. But, now that it's done, it feels good to know it's not going to be a tangled mess, and I'll be able to find what I'm looking for easily.

Anyway, A clean house is CRUCIAL to my level of happiness. I don't feel motivated to do anything in a messy house! Sometimes it doesn't even make me motivated enough to clean it. It's a bad rut to fall in to! But I'm slowly working on getting out of it...again!

I've been doing a bit of strength training the last 2 days as part of a team challenge, and it really is making me sore! In a good way I think. Not in a chronic pain way.

I ate pretty well today. I had 2 protein shakes, and a lean cuisine sweet and sour chicken. And I almost grabbed some ground beef out of the freezer, and even complicated hot dogs, of all things! eww. But I shut the freezer, and ate 3 oranges instead! I NEED to start keeping more fruit in the house. I actually LOVE to snack on it!!

That's all. I hope this house is done within the next couple of weeks!!

    Well done with the clean up and organising
Something that may help keep yarn separate (I use this for charger cables, other leads etc) - once untangled and rolled neatly, I tuck each one into a Cardboard tube such as a toilet roll holder or a paper towel tube, and then stand them up in a box so it's easy to see each one

    Way to go! It's hard to do, but once clean, you'll (hopefully) be motivated to keep it straight. I love that sweet n sour dish!

  i like a clean home and go by the quote 'everything in its place and a place for everything' but it's been in renovation mode since april of last year and i've chosen to go with the flow or go nuts!

good on you for getting your place in order and a big congrats on ST and weightloss. keep it going!!! emoticon emoticon

    emoticon emoticon Cleaning house and being organized is actually a big positive step. And sometimes we have an "off" day or even week, but it turns out to be a learning experience. For me this week, I was on this mission thinking I could somehow be healthier if I gave up caffeine and so I gave up all coffee and caffeinated sodas--everything! Well, it turns out that since all of the meds I take cause severe drowsiness, without caffeine I--you guessed it--become severely drowsy and you can forget getting anything done! So I learned that my love for coffee isn't such a bad thing after all. You just have to keep pushing forward and learn what you can from each mistake or be doomed to repeat it.

    I don't consider myself a "neat freak" (never have, really), but I do try to keep things reasonably clean - it does help me feel good, too, so I hear ya there.......

Good work on your strength training and better eating! Keep it up!

    I do believe that a cluttered house makes for a cluttered mind, and I thrive much better in a clean and organized living space. emoticon on your eating today! emoticon fruits are a must have I think. At the very least they are very helpful. Like right now, I was craving sweets, well a soda if you wanna be specific lol and I remembered I hate a bowl of grapes and pineapple in my cooler. Eating them has helped big time! emoticon emoticon
