Day 16- Work Contest and Fitness Class Schedule- Ways to keep accountable!

Some exciting fitness things have been happening for me in the past week, and I am so excited to share them with you all!

First, I went out to lunch with girlfriends two weeks ago, and we were all talking about our fitness goals and efforts. One suggested we ask our company to sponsor a biggest loser style contest. We asked, and it is ON!!

A really health-conscious co-worker is our leader. She's awesome, encouraging, and doesn't make you feel bad about trying to do better. Instead, she encourages us to make small changes and to keep trying!

Our first weigh-in was yesterday. We'll see how it goes!

Second, I signed up for fitness classes at the gym--if I pay for something, I've got to use it, right? I did all low impact stuff, in an effort to keep injury/migraine free. Here's my schedule:

Mondays: Mat Pilates
Tuesdays: Cardio at home/outside
Wednesdays: Power Yoga
Thursdays: Cardio/Strength at home
Fridays: Rest Day
Saturdays: Yoga
Sundays: Rest Day or Cardio at home

I think this is totally doable. My first Pilates class was last night, and it was really hard, but fun. And instead of feeling terrible and exhausted when I was done, I felt energized and STRONG! LOVING IT!!

I'm so excited to keep making small changes toward progress!

2014 is my year to ROCK!
