Today's dinner

to start. Then made oven fried pork chops and sauteed garlic mushrooms to go with as a side recipes.sparkpeople.com/

So oven fried pork chops may not be the healthiest thing, since I melted 2T butter, should of did one instead, to go in the pan the chops cooked on. Then dredge chops in whole wheat breadcrumbs then egg wash and again in the breadcrumbs. Put in a 425 oven 10 minutes each side.

Maybe the bacon wasn't the healthiest either but hey just had to do it, Chef Meg put it in the recipe! Oh and instead of cheddar cheese I grated some parmesan cheese on the soup. Also didn't have any milk on hand, really got to go to the store, so just used to fat free evaporated nilk and some extra chicken broth to make the 2 cups milk. What is really great is that I got 2 containers of left over soup and put them in the freezer. Got to love freezer meals you make yourself! Take that heavily processed lean cuisine and smart ones!!!!
