Days 13 and 14....

Check out these easy leg lifts, Day 13 assignment:

I didn't do the leg lifts yesterday, because I'd done fifty lunges [modified] during the days and my thighs were hurting. I am going to do them today, and try to remember them, 'cause they're a handy tool when you've been sitting all day and haven't exercised.

The good news is I've been consistent with exercise so many days that I'm now getting antsy when I've been too lazy. I love that feeling, don't you?

I've had a busy day today. Visit with a good friend and then a vocal lesson, which takes three hours because of the drive distance. So.... voice is back, muscles are fired up and it's only 6:20 p.m. Just got back from a walk. The temperature here is about 60, perfect for a good walk.

Day 14 - Make time for exercise. I satisfied that with the above walk, planned for in the middle of a busy day. We're packing for our next trip to Missouri, and any "off" time seems to make me a little antsy, with the feeling I should be staying on the task of getting things ready to pack.

    It's refreshing to see how enthusiastic you are. You're a great role model for the rest of us!
    We do those leg lifts in my class. We do 8 with each leg, then 4, then 2, then 8 singles and then 2/4/8 again. So we do a total of 36 leg lifts with each leg.
    We also did lunges today, but I didn't count them and we don't do them in every class. Next class I'll do chair squats instead.
