Day 206: Struggling

Monday, January 20, 2014

I've returned to the U.S. (and have been back for almost a week) but I'm having trouble getting back in the swing of things. I was sick one day last week and it sort of carried over for another day or so. Only made it to the gym once and now it's Monday and a new week. I need to get back into routine but it's been difficult.

I've definitely missed my Spark Friends but I need some support with getting back on track with tracking and exercise. I hope that starting a C210K program will help with that. January is just going to be all over the place so I look forward to its end.

Sorry for such a lame update.

One step at a time and one day at a time, you can get back into it.

Just be intentional about the old healthy habits that used to come naturally. You'll be back in the swing of things before you know it!

Ah, don't be so hard on yourself...coming back from holidays and not feeling way. One day at a time, drink your water and when you feel 100% you'll get back into your workouts. Have a great day ! emoticon

Keep your head up girl! You can do this. Struggling is a completely normal part of the journey. Just don't let it win! You can do this!

The important first step is that you recognize you need to get back on track and you are planning the steps to do it! Good for you!!! You will get back in the groove in no time! Be kind to yourself and acknowledge the positives and dont dwell on the negatives. emoticon

Sorry you haven't been feeling well. I am sure that makes getting back on track even harder. Remember the tiny steps and you will get back to it. Good luck to you this week!

emoticon It's always hard to get back into the swing of things, especially if you were away from your norm and/or enjoying yourself during a vacation. You'll get your groove back, like you said this is a new week. Forget last week and treat it like it never happened and make this week yours! As long as you're feeling better of course!

I look forward to reading about your emoticon training!
