Flowers in the Attic and Random Photos of stuff

Sunday, January 19, 2014

I was really excited to watch Lifetime's film adaptation of VC Andrew's Flowers in the Attic.

I think they did a really great job and stayed pretty true to the book.

I remember reading it as a teenager, and I still love to read Andrew's books. I have read everything that has been published under her name up to 2010. I haven't read the most recent stuff

    LOL love the shirts
Flowers in the Attic...freaked. me. out.

I was just talking to my mom about - realized I didn't get freaked out as a kid reading the book...maybe because I didn't quite "get it"? But now...I get it. EW!

I really enjoyed the movie too and agree that is stayed pretty close to the book. I read the series when I was a kid and think the first one was always the best.

Loved the books, haven't seen the movie, didn't even know there was one. I will have to look it up.

I remember reading that book when I was in high school; I think just about every girl in my class read it.

I only read about a half dozen of her books; to me, they just started to seem too much alike and the stories too predictable.

I wanted to see that movie but its one of those movies that I am afraid will be disturbing so I won't watch until I read some reviews :)
