Are You Ready For Some Football???

Sunday, January 19, 2014

I am a huge Pats fan. Always have been. Always will be. Just so you know, I loved them when they couldn't get to a playoff game....I loved them when they really stunk....so I am not a "jump on the bandwagon" fan.

Today I will work out during the game. I need to. I get so nervous and pumped up, that it's the best thing for my sanity.

During the game I will walk at a moderate pace on the treadmill. If we get a touchdown, (when we get a touchdown), I will jump off and do jumping jacks, burpees and other cardio rich exercises until the commercials are over.

If we get an interception, I will turn up the speed and run until the first down.
If we throw an interception, I will turn up the speed and run until I stop swearing.

If the Broncos get a touchdown, I will run, run, run until I can't speak audibly. It's best for my daughter not to hear her Mom utter expletives!

I will work out throughout the game...hoping for a win...but either way, it will be a win for me!

GO PATS!

emoticon Well...we lost. But I got a great workout in and so far I have over 24,000 steps for the day. So I personally won!

    Good strategy for workouts!

Well, this is the big game -- the Patsies playing at the Burros' home field.

Victory will determine whether it's the "Pats" or the "Broncos" going to the Superbowl.

Please excuse my "familiarity" with both teams. We moved to New Hampshire from Colorado in 1987. I missed the Elway-led Broncos, when we first moved here. The Patsies were AW-FULL! The Pats had awful ownership, and awful coaching. What a transformation!

    Interestingl
y, when Bellichek first became coach, I pointed out, in my Mother-in-Law's presence, that Bill had not done very well in Cleveland (I went to graduate school in Ohio.) My MIL pointed out that he was a VERY GOOD coach. Since my MIL seldom made pointed observations (one of the nicest people I ever met!) on almost anything. I made special note. Boy, was she right.
