Which takes me back to my starting weight here on SparkPeople, almost 4 years ago. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. :l
Anyway, I cut out all sugar, sugar substitutes, bread, flour, etc. One fruit, some veg a day. Meat, cheese, yogurt. Nuts every day (but not many: 10 almonds, 2 pecans, 2 cashews, 1 Brazil nut). Water, coffee with milk (no more than 2/day), espresso, various teas. One day I went crazy and had a club soda. This week I will add more veg, but other than that, keep on with it. I am having few cravings; bought my kid McD's French fries and he ate them in the car on the way home, and I didn't eat a one. Husband and kid ordered pizza one night; I went upstairs and took a shower while they ate it, and put the leftovers in the fridge later without even a nibble.
I also got back to the gym. My instructor said I looked sheepish. Yes, yes, I am embarrassed to have been gone so long. In my defense, I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis or something since August. I had radiation to kill my thyroid in October. I got a horrible stomach thingy (which involved IV antibiotics). I had a very bad cold and had to fly like that. I was back in the US for two weeks over the holidays. So I have some reasonable excuses, right? Whatever, that's all in the past. The instructor also said I would feel it the next day, and laughed. She was right. But it's all good.
I was going to start C25K this morning, but just couldn't bring myself to. I will do it tonight. Will also try to get to the gym for a class. Unfortunately, RPM is the only thing that will fit my schedule; I'd really rather do BodyBalance or Pump or yoga. Oh well. Forward.
