Made it to the hotel. Got the race packet. Blitzed through the Expo - my toddler wasn't into it. Went to dinner and had some Salmon, mashed potatoes, fresh fruit and some fresh bread.
My plan for the race is to start slow at 11 min pace per mile and get faster. The race temp is supposed to start in the high 40s and end in the low 60s.
Because it will be warm I will wear a short sleeve performance shirt and shorts.
I have been hydrating, but will start with a 750 ml water bottle and fill up my hydration belt with full strength Gatorade which I will drink starting at mile 12.
Here is my pic prerace. We will see how I look after 26 miles.
