I've joined the 2014 5% Winter Challenge on the Cats team (what else for me!!) and it's wheels up today, January 18th. My 5% goal would equal to 8 lbs. in 8 weeks, which is totally doable if I stay on program. I'm looking forward to being accountable to my team, I don't want to let them down! The plan is to stay within my calorie range and track my food faithfully every day. Also, 30 minutes of cardio/walking 6 days a week and 3 sessions of strength training per week. My once a year physical is coming up at the end of February and I really want those numbers to be good on the scale as well as my overall health in terms of cholesterol, etc. I weighed 185 at last years physical, I'm at 163 right now and 8 lbs will take me to 155 which will put me in the normal BMI range, which would be soooooo awesome!
