Whatever the workout, I always feel GOOD afterwards. I've read a lot about cardio and boosting your weight loss by changing around your workout, but I've also found that as long as I do SOMEthing, SOME of the exercises that I like to do, my state of mind has improved, and my body seems to be smiling. As a young teenager, I was underweight. But as soon I was plumping out, that "diet" mentality kicked in, and I used to think I could "control" my weight. Thinking back on those days, if I had just been left alone to be as I was, I may not have developed my obsessiveness about diet and weight, and might now not be finding myself with 30-70 pounds to lose. It all got out of balance.
For me, the key word is balance. After ANY workout, I feel balanced, mentally and physically. I might do some stretches, some weights, and treat myself at the end with the treadmill while watching a TV series on my iPad (using headphones)--and memories come back of the days when I most loved myself, days of doing my workouts. Self-designed. I truly believe if you do the exercises you like, you'll DO them at all.
