I'm making progress!

I'm starting to see the payoff of this whole walk/jog thing. I was able to walk much faster during my workout yesterday. I went from walking at the speed of 3.0 to 3.5. Woohoo! That's a big thing for me. Today is the end of Week 1 of the Couch to 5K, but I think I may have to repeat it. I'll see where I'm at during my workout, but I don't think I'm quite ready to advance yet. My legs have been so weak since I hurt my back, it's good to see progress in the strength of them - makes me happy :)

I'm also up to 45 second planks. Today I move on to 60 second planks... oh boy! I'm not really looking forward to it lol.

All in all, I feel good! I'm proud of myself for getting myself moving, overcoming my injury, and being where I'm at right now. My physical therapist told me that I'm the first person that she has successfully treated without a cortisone shot. It really is about your determination and willing to work to take care of your body. The main thing I have learned this year is when it comes to what we do with and put into our bodies is - We need to love our bodies. If we don't love it, we won't give it what it needs. I'm trying to show much love to mine right now.
