Fitness Classes - One week down, Five to go!

This past Monday I started some group fitness classes. I haven't taken a group fitness class in almost 10 years.
I am taking a one hour Zumba class, followed by a 45min Kettlebells class. The only reason I'm doing them both on the same day, is that's how they are offered. Both classes on both Mondays and Wednesdays.
Zumba is great. I need more practice to figure out the movements/routines for the songs, but other than that, it's great fun. I used to do aerobics, and step aerobics years ago. It's the same type of thing. You just need to take the time to get used to the routine, and how the movements flow from one to the next.
This is the first time I've ever done Kettlebells. It's definitely a different kind of workout. I'm enjoying it. I just need to learn more about proper technique. But we all have that when we start a new fitness system/routine.
I think I just might buy myself a kettlebell.
The instructor is alright. She's only recently been certified at training for kettlebells. I'm not sure how long she's been doing Zumba classes. She's still finding her stride. As for the Zumba classes, she doesn't really break down the routines, or even call out changes from one move to the other. I guess since the routine is the same every time for that song, if you've been doing it long enough you don't need to be told when to change and what is next. That's one thing I loved about the aerobics and step aerobic classes. They were clearly counted to the music, and you had plenty of warning when the step was changing, and what you were to do next.
Overall I'm enjoying the classes. The back of my legs and my butt have been full of lactic acid all week long. It's just an adjustment thing. During the kettlebells class on Wednesday, I was realizing that the 10lb weight is just too light. I am going to grab a 15 and a 20lb weight next class. I'm thinking I'll use the 15lb one for most of it, and use the 20lb one when we are focusing on the swing.
Oh. I also need to remember to bring my inhaler. I keep forgetting this week. lol. At least I haven't had too much trouble breathing. lol
