I've set a self-challenge for myself to work on during the 5% Challenge beginning this Saturday that I'm part of. I want to walk for at least 20 minutes every day of this challenge, which would be 56 days. I think this will jump start some weight loss for me and help me build on that momentum. It also takes me up to my next doctor appointment where I hope to convince him (by better lab results) that I do NOT need to go on insulin quite yet. I think most days this won't be a problem, but I know some days will be more of a challenge and I will have to think outside of the box to meet this goal. But I'm going to do it, no matter what!!!
