I just did this after doing a 50 minutes power walk and I was amazed at the energy I had during the lunges! I was flying and hopping on that bench! It felt so good. I wore my fabulous waist trimmer belt and I sweat so much, I will now put it in the bathtub with me tonight so I can scrub it front and back. I have the original vhs - yep, still using it - will use it till it dies. Gin does sell this on dvd on her website - it has a different cover
, but it's the same one as the original step and the dvd one even says step video on the cover. I have never said this about an instructor before but Gin Miller is an EXCELLENT instructor. She cues you perfectly and you can hear her. The music for this is so fun that 20 years ago, I bought the music on cassette, which I still have but I can't use it for walking now cause I don't wear a walkman any longer (anyone remember those?) The lighting, everything - is really nice on this workout - you don't even have to look at it - just listen and do what she says. I almost feel like this is like a walk but intensified. It feels so good!!
Another thing I noticed with my 50 minute Power Walk with Denise this morning - now that I've been doing this dvd for 4 straight days, I don't look at her any longer - I just listen and do what is being done - I don't care if I'm on same foot - I'm still moving - I'm liking this walk because it's powerful - I like the way you pump the arms - the way she has a variety of arm movements - I actually did the first 2 miles and then went back to second mile and did it again, instead of the 3rd one with weights. I really enjoyed doing it this way. I think all this walking and weight lifting has energized me for the step which I'll be incorporating in to my routine several times a week now.
