new way to cook tofu

I was cooking this morning before going to work and was looking for a way to make chewier tofu without frying it. I found a recommendation to slice it and cover it with boiling salted water for 15 minutes before drying it and cooking it. It really did make for better, drier tofu slices. I ate a slice right from the pan. I can't wait for lunch now;)

    I saw comments on freezing tofu and want to try it, but needed something quicker for cooking before going to work. Have you had success freezing tofu?

    Yay! Another way to make your tofu chewy is to freeze and thaw it. It totally changes the texture.
