I know I'm making progress. I bought an 8 piece fried chicken from Albertsons, but instead of getting the meal as usual with macaroni salad and potato wedges, I just got chicken only and made mashed potatoes and veggies at home. Didn't take long at all and I saved some calories with mashed potatoes vs. potato wedges, cauliflower vs. macaroni salad. Also I love fried chicken and usually eat at least two pieces. Suddenly these pieces of chicken looked too big to me, so I only ate a wing and 1/2 of as thigh instead of the whole thigh and when I was full, I stopped eating. Normally, I would have cleaned the plate because this is one of my favorite meals. Needless to say, I'm very proud of myself.
