The day 10 FatLoser video is a 20 minute commercial for personal development or self-help books, CDs, MP3s, and DVDs. Any self-help resources, not just Steve Siebold's.
"Actions are dictated by our beliefs." His contention is that we should repeat things to ourselves several thousand times so that we come to believe those statements and thus act on them. I'm withholding judgement on that, but I'm still listening to what he has to say.
He wanted us to list 3 beliefs about weight loss and fitness we'd like to change or upgrade. I modified his examples to read:
1. I eat for health instead of just for pleasure. ( ALL eating is pleasurable for me.)
2. I always stay within my calorie range. (Mostly there, and I track it so I KNOW that I do.)
3. I exercise because I want to, and I love the way I feel afterward. (I've got the second part of this, but not the first.)
I hope your day went well. I'm late blogging today because I had time to exercise OR blog this morning, and I chose to exercise. (Patting self on the back. I guess I DID want to today.)
