I'm full. I'm actually struggling a bit getting all my "food" into my day. It's a surprise. Instead of eating a bagel with butter for breakfast, today I had a mini frittata, a whole wheat sandwich thing and some sliced turkey. When I eat my bagel with butter, I'm hungry an hour later. Today, I pushed myself to have my morning snack - a banana. For lunch I'd have McDonald's or something at the hot buffet at the deli, or if I'm home, I graze all day, picking at whatever is in the fridge. Today I had leftover whole grain spaghetti (1 oz), tomato and beans. Didn't even want my after lunch treat of cookies. I had some turkey and mayo in lettuce for that mid afternoon craving. I still have dinner, a piece of fruit and my dessert of yogurt and blueberries to go.
By eating better foods in smaller portion and eating healthier foods in between, I am satisfying my hunger cravings. It's a nice discovery. Eating better, healthier foods is really satisfying!!! Wow, the lightbulb went off :)
