I used to be 119 lbs before children (my doctor said I was underweight). After my second child, I weighed 163 lbs. Over the next 20 years I've hung around the 140's but can easily move up into the 150's if I revert to mindless eating. I've finally gotten into the 130's and have adjusted my goal to weigh between 135 and 140. I used to think that it would be great to be 125 lbs, but I feel healthy around this weight. So I think 135-140 is a reasonable goal weight for me.
Even thinking that 125 would be great was an adjustment for me at one time. In college I was 110-115 lbs and still thought I weighed too much! At nearly 5' 7", I now think that my expectations were unreasonable. Growing up, my sister and I both were very skinny children, so being skinny was my "normal". It can be hard to adjust to a heavier weight. Having weighed 163 lbs in the past has allowed me to see that 135-140 is a really nice weight for my frame. I feel good, I feel attractive, and I'm healthier.
(Interestingly, my mom was a skinny child & my sister too. Both put on significant weight after their 2nd child & my sister even more after a 3rd child. We all have small frames but my mom and sister have even smaller frames than me.)
