You know me...a lover of food that's for sure! I may have found a diet that speaks to me. It IS work..I won't deny that. But it is probably SO worth it if I can stick to it.
That's why I'm posting all about it here on my blogs because I find I'm much more focused if I'm accountable.
Today starts Day 3 but of course I'm reporting on Day 2 for your benefit. I started the diet on Monday and that was Phase I. Phase I is called the Unwinding Stress Phase... two days of eating to calm your adrenals (I was told that I had completely burnt mine out years ago from my stress induced life) I'm hoping they can be nurtured and restored and since I woke up this a.m. feeling particularly 'mellow' I'm thinking yes...perhaps. The last two days have been LOTS of eating.
One of the rules of the diet is that you HAVE to eat within a half hour of waking...so this blog will be SHORT. You HAVE to eat 2 snacks per day and you HAVE to have 3 square healthy food meals. That's just the VERY short version...there are a whole bunch more HAVE to's included. It's a challenge for sure...but one I've got my head in the game for.
Whew...the supreme test for me. I NEVER ate breakfast, NEVER snacked..well sometimes on cheese or some other high calorie no no, and I most often SKIPPED lunch and then ate like a trojan for dinner. By then I was wanting something sweet and as you can tell from the 50-60 pounds I now have to unpack from my slender frame..this was NOT working for me.
So in spite of my insanely busy life, in spite of my insanely stressed lifestyle (still fighting the 'Save our House' battle which causes me HEART BREAKING
stress) I'm going to challenge myself to eat better, to take care of myself, and to WIN this weight loss
Because if I don't stand up and take the reins on my life's journey who the heck ELSE will?
Today I rotate to Phase II for two days. This is more up my alley it is supposed to unlock your fat store and is high protein, high veggie, low carb, and low fat.
I'm off to make my breakfast now a mushroom, onion scramble (no egg) with turkey bacon...sounds pretty good huh. I'm not the LEAST bit hungry...not at ALL...but off to the kitchen I go!
Stay sparky my friends and do something GOOD for yourself even if it's hard. It will make you smile in the mirror when you see your cute little newly slender mug with self satisfaction.
JUST GO DO IT!
